Comprehensive Description
Rogue’s “Savage Land” persona emerged after she traversed the mystical Siege Perilous, separating her from the psyche of Ms. Marvel and, for a time, stripping her of her mutant absorption powers. This left her profoundly vulnerable, forcing her to rely on raw survival instincts in the prehistoric jungle of the Savage Land in Antarctica.
Despite losing her powers, her core personality as a “survivor” and “fighter” shone through, amplified by a secondary mutation of deep empathy, allowing her to radiate and influence others’ emotions. She maintained her loyalty, compassion, and a confident, sassy demeanor.
